I did this oil pastel on vacation. Tho there is a little missing such as the birds head and some of the wings but it was still good enough to post. I was really enjoying doing the vibrant color of this bird when two guys sat down near me and started smoking, So I ended up leaving and never completed some of the small details.

I have not used oil pastels much myself, but I think they make a great quick and spontaneous medium to use, as can be seen in your bird drawing which I really like....can also see the improvement from the first one to this..look forward to more.
